Most AI tooling today is episodic — each session starts over, and context, intent and institutional knowledge get lost between tools, sessions and providers. You explain the architecture, the constraints, the reasoning — and the model forgets, session after session. That costs tokens spent re-establishing context that should have simply persisted, and judgment quality lost when a model quietly overrides a call that should have stayed yours.

Cognituum is built on a simple inversion: your engineering decisions outrank the model's. Once you decide something, it's captured and enforced, not re-negotiated tool by tool. It's provider-agnostic by design — Claude, Codex, Gemini, whatever you use, your judgment sits above all of them, not inside one of them.
